Theatre Guild of Simsbury presents
A Season of Staged Readings
The Staged Reading Series
The Theatre Guild of Simsbury’s Staged Reading Series at McLean is the perfect opportunity for actors of all ages and experience levels. Each staged reading will provide actors with the opportunity to take part in a short-term production that is ideal for those who are unable to commit to a full play or musical, those who are new to the stage and seasoned actors looking for their next production. Each show will have a total of six rehearsals (including an open dress rehearsal for McLean residents) and one performance open to the public.

In the month of February, the Theatre Guild of Simsbury will be performing Love Notes, a collection of scenes from plays, major movies and television shows surrounding the theme of love: romantic, familial, crazy, unrequited, funny, constant and true. Love Notes will make you laugh, make you cry and have you falling in love over and over again.
March 27 at 7:30 pm - POSTPONED
Location: McClean (directions)
Directors: Olivia Piper, Melissa Otero
In the month of March, the Theatre Guild of Simsbury will be performing Snapshot, an anthology of dramatic scenes that center around the famous photograph Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, 1969 taken by photographer Lee Friedlander. These thought-provoking scenes and monologues range from delightful comedy to utterly serious tragedy, each approaching the photo's themes through a new lens.
